Rebecca’s Care Philosophy
“As a nurse practitioner, my care philosophy centers around proactive health promotion and disease prevention. I believe that by emphasizing preventive measures, we can significantly enhance the well-being of our patients and contribute to healthier communities. I recognize that each patient is unique, with distinct needs, backgrounds, and risk factors. My approach begins with a thorough assessment, considering not only physical health but also social determinants, lifestyle, and psychosocial factors. I actively involve patients in their care journey. Together, we explore preventive options, discuss risks and benefits, and collaboratively decide on personalized strategies.”

Carolle Nazair, RN NP
As a Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years, Carolle has grown to appreciate the diversity of primary healthcare for all of it’s rewarding aspects. Over the years, she's become progressively interested in hormonal issues and PTSD as these are areas of health care that are often misunderstood. Women’s health is a true passion. In 2016, Carolle was amongst some the first Maritime NAMS (North American Menopause Society, now known as The Menopause Society) Certified Menopause Practitioners. She's had the privilege to serve in the NorthWest Territories and collaborate with amazing people. |
The NP profession is dear to her and as such she's done a lot of advocacy work over the years, having served as a board member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada (NPAC), as a public speaker and as an educator, and also as the chair of the National NP exam committee.
Carolle's pride and joy are her wonderful children who are "absolutely amazing people: and who she wishes to acknowledge. As she says, "Their resilience is truly remarkable".
